Sip, Memory

Recreating Moments through Taste, Smell, and Brand

Overview

My project, “Sip, Memory” combines the traditional aesthetics of Chinese landscape paintings and the distinct seasonal atmospheres in Pittsburgh. The project summarized my four years in Pittsburgh, taking important places and memories and turning them into tangible, tasteable experiences. Based on different seasonal elements and my memories, I crafted 8 unique spirit blends, each infused with different herbs, spices, and flavors. Moreover, I sealed my bottles with layers of black wax to resemble old burnt-out candles that symbolize the passing of time, also staying consistent with the black ink motif.
